The Northamptonshire Cyber Security Forum is designed to help local businesses raise their defences against the UK’s fastest growing form of crime.
Launched in May 2017, the forum holds regular monthly meetings attended by IT directors, managers and specialists from local businesses and business networks.
As well as receiving free cyber-crime prevention advice, attendees benefit from access to cyber-crime prevention advice, specialist subject matter experts, briefings on current cyber threats, information on impacts, trends and government advice helping them to reduce the likelihood of disruption due to cyber-crime. The Forum is a community of like-minded individuals, ranging from small business owners with limited IT knowledge to expert practitioners working within large enterprises, all of whom are at the centre of the local economy.
The forum meets on the third Friday of every month for directors of multi-national corporations, SME owners, IT industry practitioners and professionals across all sectors, as well as Risk, Business Continuity and Compliance Managers. Membership of the Cyber Security Forum is free to IT directors, managers and specialists from any business operating within Northamptonshire.
